New Bridge Nursery School

Admission & Registration

Admissions process

New Bridge takes children from the age of 3; for most children this is likely to be the September following their 3rd birthday.

We may have a few spaces available to offer in January and very occasionally in April. Some children will have to wait until the following September before we have a space available, but they will still have a full year with us.

If your child is 2 years old you may complete and submit the registration form below. You will be able to arrange a visit to the Nursery School.

Registration process

Please read the information below carefully before submitting your registration form. You can call or email our admissions secretary with specific questions: 0118 937 5580  admin@newbridgenursery.reading.sch.uk

Please note WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE YOUR REGISTRATION UNTIL YOUR CHILD IS TWO YEARS OF AGE.

Remember to click the SUBMIT form when you have completed all of your details. Once we have received your details, a Look Around appointment can be made to view the school and to meet the head teacher, Lisa Bedlow. The visit will take up to 30 minutes and we encourage you to bring your child.

I have accepted a place at New Bridge...what next?

If you accept a place to start in September, you will have a home visit at the end of July. This will allow staff, yourself and your child to get to know each other and you can ask questions.

There will be a New Parents’ Meeting arranged in the evening towards the end of July when information will be given and you can ask questions.

New starters will visit with their parents for one hour on the first day of the September term. The following day we will have all the returning children only. All children will be in on the third day and the new children can start their full sessions if they are ready.

A similar process will apply to children starting in January and April.
